White Horse Hotel - Empingham

The location in a lovely area was excellent, with a market and shops nearby. the staff were all affable. I had a wonderful stay while visiting Rutland Water and would happily return.

gorgeous accommodation, attentive staff, perfect location in the bar area at anytime. location near lovely pub, the white horse for sunday lunch, and st peter's church and barbara's store. nearby the lord high admiral - great place to chill out.

This venue is in a great spot, close to lovely places for Sunday lunch and not far from both the bars and Rutland Water, plus they offer a delicious breakfast included.

We had a wonderful weekend away at this cozy and charming hotel. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, with comfortable beds and a well-equipped bathroom. The location was perfect, with easy access to a variety of shops and restaurants, as well as nearby attractions. We especially enjoyed the tasty breakfast and the friendly and welcoming staff who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel even offered free Wi-Fi throughout the property, which was a great perk.

While we had a lovely time overall, we did experience a bit of noise from the nearby road at night, which was somewhat distracting. the hotel's parking lot was quite small and crowded, making it difficult to find a spot at times.

The music playing in the restaurant can sometimes be too loud and not suitable for a quiet lunch or dinner.

The food at the hotel was absolutely amazing! We indulged in a Sunday roast and it was cooked to perfection. the beef was tender and flavorful, and the portion size was generous. We also appreciated the fact that the vegetables were fresh, not frozen. Definitely a culinary delight. . the service at the hotel was top-notch. the staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of. Despite the restaurant being busy, the speed of service was satisfactory, and we didn't have to wait too long for our meals. the staff's professionalism and willingness to assist were commendable. the hotel's location was ideal for a romantic escape. It was nestled in a peaceful and charming setting, providing a tranquil atmosphere for a getaway. We loved being surrounded by nature and being able to relax and unwind in such a beautiful environment.

That the beef was slightly overcooked for my liking. I prefer my meat to be pink, but it was still tender and flavorful.
